Designed primarily for toy train sets such as Thomas the Tank and Brio, our rectangle activities table elevates board games, race and train tracks, and doll houses to "coffee table height".
The 18" height is just perfect for 4-10 year olds to play on, and the "picture frame" trim keeps all the toys off the floor.
These tables feature a sturdy 3/4" LAMINATED particleboard top secured on our standard 2-piece particleboard slotted base, and assemble/disassemble just like our round drape tables for easy temporary use and storage. This compact design table
disassembles flat in 3 parts to 44" x 32" x 3" for easy storage in a closet or by sliding under a bed. And these versatile tables can be used for many other purposes after your children outgrow toy trains and doll houses!
The laminated particleboard top is just like a countertop, so liquid spills don't soak in and it's easy to wipe clean with soap and water. There is a 1/2" high Fiberboard edge trim framed around the top to keep runaway trains and other toys on the table. Fiberboard and particleboard are soft woods, and have no dangerous splinters like hardwood or plywood.
The rectangular shape can be adapted to many race and train tracks, play boards, jigsaw puzzles, doll houses, and games.

The overall dimensions of our rectangular activities table are 44" wide, 32" deep, and 18 1/2" high. The height from the floor to table top is 18", with a 1/2" trim border added to edge of top.
The trim dimensions are 1 1/2" x 1/2", so the overall "inside trim" dimension of the table top(the flat area) is 41" x 29".
Construction: Table top is 3/4" thick white laminated particleboard. There are 4 "cleats" stapled to bottom of the table top to channel the "X" base. The trim is fiberboard painted white, and is glued and stapled to the table top.
The base is made of 5/8" thick particleboard and consists of 2 slotted pieces that slide together.

We STOCK the standard 18" height base for this top(18 1/2" to top of trim).
